PINTO COELHO CLINIC®LIVE LONGER, our Health Coach in Integrative and Functional Nutrition serves as a guide and mentor, equipping you with tools and support to set and reach goals through sustainable changes adapted to your lifestyle.

You can work on goals like losing weight, boosting energy levels, sleeping better at night, discovering new foods and nutrients, and even learning how to prepare them. Eating well doesn’t have to be a diet or a chore. It’s a lifestyle that we adopt with enjoyment.

You will be listened to carefully so that, together, we can navigate the world of contradictions in healthy eating and understand what truly works best for you. After all, we are all different, unique, and special in our own way, and what works for some doesn’t necessarily work for others.

Working alongside a doctor, the Nutrition Coach applies the best strategies to support a long, healthy, and disease-free life.

An Integrative and Functional Nutrition Coach focuses on both Primary and Secondary Foods, taking a holistic approach that encourages looking at all aspects that nourish the body, mind, and soul as foundations for a fulfilling and healthy life.

Primary Foods are elements that nourish us without needing to be consumed. These include good relationships, a satisfying social life, work we love, regular physical activity, and, in some cases, spirituality.

Secondary Foods are traditional foods, including micro and macronutrients, that we consume.

It’s for anyone looking to significantly improve their health and quality of life.


Nearly all diseases start in the gut. Our dietary choices can influence genetics, behaviours, and many other factors across generations.

Imbalances in gut bacteria can lead to premature aging, autoimmune diseases, headaches, insomnia, depression, autism, cancer, obesity, difficulty losing weight, digestive issues, skin problems, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and many other concerns, which can even be passed down to our descendants.

Nutritional re-education sessions are held biweekly. During the initial consultation, three-month goals are established. At each session, these goals are reassessed, considering progress and any challenges in adopting the recommended dietary and lifestyle changes suggested by the coach.

There’s no calorie-counting diet, just a complete re-education in functional nutrition for life.

Re-education requires forming or breaking habits and covers different situations and states with email support between sessions.
