Intestinal Dysbiosis

A Intestinal dysbiosis occurs when there is an imbalance in the gut microbiota, leading to the overgrowth of harmful microorganisms at the expense of beneficial bacteria. This imbalance can cause various digestive, immune, and metabolic issues, triggering symptoms such as abdominal bloating, changes in bowel habits, fatigue, weight gain, skin problems, and even impacting hormonal and mental health.

The causes of dysbiosis vary and may include poor diet, food intolerances, chronic stress, excessive antibiotic use, exposure to toxins, and hormonal imbalances, among other factors.

Dysbiosis is often associated with conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel diseases, such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

At PINTO COELHO CLINIC®LIVE LONGERwe treat dysbiosis with a personalized approachEach patient undergoes a detailed assessment, as there are different types of dysbiosis that need to be identified for effective treatment. The process may include specific lab tests to assess the microbiome’s status and underlying factors, ensuring a treatment plan tailored to individual needs.

The treatment begins with a detailed assessment, which may involve removal of triggering factors (dietary and environmental), followed by interventions for repairing the intestinal environment. Antimicrobial nutraceutical interventions are also tailored to each case, and in some instances, we recommend additional therapies, such as colon hydrotherapy, to assist in detoxification and promote a more effective recovery.

Don’t let dysbiosis symptoms impact your quality of life.
